Back then, in a place called Bhadohi, a British gentleman by the name of A.Tellery started what is now Patodia Contract and Patodia Exports. He was one of the core founders of the export business of carpets in India. While the ownership of the factories changed over the years, the expertise and skill in not just manufacturing, but also design, became only more refined, embracing innovative new methods and standards, some of which were developed and established by us. Today, our custom carpets and rugs can be seen and felt in some of the finest hotels, restaurants, palaces, residences and stores across the world, in 4 continents.
